EmpowerHER – Breast Cancer Awareness Sessions
The EmpowerHER initiative focuses on improving awareness of breast cancer among women in low-income and working-class communities, where access to information and early screening remains limited.
Through targeted outreach sessions, ARC engages directly with women to discuss early signs, risk factors, and the importance of timely medical consultation. These sessions are designed to be accessible and culturally sensitive, ensuring that participants feel comfortable discussing health concerns that are often overlooked or stigmatised.
Alongside awareness activities, ARC is also collecting field-based insights to better understand gaps in knowledge and access. This allows the program to continuously adapt and respond to the specific needs of different communities, strengthening both its reach and effectiveness.
