Action Research Collective (ARC) is a Lahore-based interdisciplinary platform bringing together scholars from the social and natural sciences alongside grassroots organizers. We produce rigorous, field-based research while working directly with communities to expand access to healthcare, education, and dignified livelihoods. At the core of ARC is a clear conviction that communities are best placed to understand and respond to their own needs. We work from this conviction, approaching research not as an extractive exercise but as a collaborative process—one that strengthens local decision-making, supports advocacy, and translates evidence into practical action.
