Community Outreach Programs
Our community outreach programs focus on building practical skills, strengthening local capacity, and expanding access to learning opportunities in undeserved communities. These programs are designed based on needs identified through ARC’s field engagement and are delivered through community spaces, schools, and local partnerships.
Digital Literacy and Computer Skills
ARC provided foundational computer skills training to over 300 students, focusing on essential digital competencies required in both academic and professional environments. The program introduced participants to commonly used tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with an emphasis on hands-on practice.
Participants were guided through basic tasks including document preparation, data handling, and presentation development. The aim was not only to build familiarity with digital tools, but to enable students to use them confidently in their studies and future work settings.
Beautician Skills Training
The beautician training program was designed to provide participants with practical, entry-level skills that can support income generation. The sessions covered basic techniques in personal care and grooming, alongside an introduction to commonly used tools and practices in the field.
The program focused on accessibility and applicability, allowing participants to develop skills that can be used independently or within small-scale, community-based enterprises.
Spoken English Program
ARC conducted spoken English sessions aimed at improving communication skills, confidence, and everyday language use. The program focused on practical interaction, including conversational exercises, basic grammar, and vocabulary building.
Participants were encouraged to engage actively, helping them become more comfortable using English in educational settings, professional environments, and daily interactions.
Paralegal Training
The paralegal course introduced participants to fundamental legal concepts, including basic rights, legal procedures, and the structure of the legal system. The sessions were designed to make legal knowledge more accessible and relevant to everyday situations.
By building awareness of legal processes, the program aimed to support individuals in navigating legal challenges more confidently and to strengthen community-level understanding of rights and responsibilities.
