Supporting low-fee private schools through collaborative learning and capacity building

Low-fee private schools (monthly fees 200-2000 PKR) are the backbone of urban education in Pakistan, serving the majority of students. Yet these schools operate on razor-thin margins, making them vulnerable to closures - as witnessed post-COVID when many failed to reopen. Limited resources mean minimal teacher training and development, while market competition drives fees even lower, creating a cycle of precarity.
School Bridge Network breaks this cycle by fostering collaboration instead of competition. We've built a community of schools that meet regularly, share resources, and participate in programs that enhance both student learning and teacher capacity. Through this network, schools transform from isolated entities into a resilient educational ecosystem.

Khalq Summer School

A transformative summer program that breaks away from traditional rote learning. Students engage in project-based learning spanning creative writing, civic responsibility, and scientific exploration. Through daily workshops and community projects, we nurture critical thinking and leadership skills while encouraging students to explore their interests beyond conventional academics.

Street Law Program

In collaboration with LUMS School of Law, this innovative program makes legal education accessible and engaging. Law students conduct interactive sessions using mock trials and guided discussions, helping school students understand their constitutional rights and civic responsibilities. The program creates awareness about legal processes while inspiring interest in law and justice.
Story Days

Our weekly storytelling initiative uses carefully curated books and films to spark meaningful discussions about social issues. By combining storytelling with career counseling, we help students explore different life paths while developing critical thinking skills. Each session creates a safe space for students to discuss their aspirations and concerns about the future.

Computer Camps

Our digital literacy program equips teachers with essential technology skills for modern classrooms. The comprehensive curriculum covers basic operations to advanced digital tools, enabling educators to enhance their teaching methods. Through practical, hands-on training, teachers learn to integrate technology effectively into their daily classroom activities.
Teachers Training

Designed by leading educationists, this program will transform teachers into effective mentors and facilitators. Moving beyond traditional instruction methods, we focus on equipping teachers with skills in career counseling, student motivation, and innovative lesson planning. Our goal is to create a ripple effect where better-equipped teachers can guide and inspire their students more effectively.
